A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY WILL ACCOMPANY THE TANZANITES
We are pleased to be offering a pair of fine quality tanzanite gemstones, well matched for colour, size and clarity. Each gemstone measures approximately 5.75mm x 4mm and have been step cut with a combined weight of 0.90 points. The colour of the tanzanites is an amazing blue/violet and we must say, the clarity is superb. An ideal purchase for someone to set into a bespoke pair of earrings.
As a reputable business we do feel it is important to disclose known treatments of all the gemstones we sell and we can confirm that tanzanite is generally a brownish colour in its natural state and in most cases will require a heat treatment to bring out the blues so can confirm that the tanzanites will have received this treatment.
It is highly advisable to purchase tanzanite that is accompanied with either a Certificate of Authenticity from a reputable jeweller or is certified by a recognised gemological institute. It is evident that the market has been flooded with many tanzanites that have been coated to enhance the colour or the worst case scenario, blue/violet glass!
If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, we will gladly accept a return and will reimburse you for the full cost.

Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
