A CERTIFICATE OF AHENTICITY WILL ACCOMPANY THIS RING, ISSUED BY A REPUTABLE UK BASED GEMSTONE COMPANY
WOW! Such an amazing colour to this large tanzanite which has been graded as an AA for colour but in our opinion, is on par with many of the higher AAA grades for sure! The tanzanite has been set into an attractive 9ct yellow gold ring designed with the most amazing claws which secure the tanzanite into the ring, such a designer looking piece! The weight of this tanzanite is an impressive 2.46 carats and measures a large 9mm x 7mm and its colour is amazing, a rich blue/violet with flashes of pink, pure text book and has been cut into an oval shape which has received the expensive lapidary work of checkerboard faceting to its surface. The tanzanite has good translucency and is not opaque by any means! Our photographs really do not do this tanzanite justice, so much better in reality! To add that touch more luxury, four marquise shaped genuine white zircon have been set into the designer looking tiered shoulders. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond. Speaking honestly, we would rather under sell and over deliver on our pieces so it is important to know that this tanzanite does have natural inclusions but this does not detract from the beauty of this gemstone. An extra nought would certainly need to be added to our price to buy a clean tanzanite of this colour and size. Please be assured, the ring you see in our photos is the one that will be delivered to you and for your re-assurance has been independently hallmarked by the Assay Office in Birmingham UK. We are sure that whoever buys this ring will be thrilled with their purchase!
PLEASE NOTE: The ring has been gauged as a UK size N 1/2 but we are sure would fit comfortably on a ring size N or O. The ring can be re-sized within reason, please contact us in the first instance and we will be happy to enquire as to whether the ring can be altered to your requirements.
The ring is hand crafted to a high standard and is NOT mass machine produced and is brand new with tag and will be delivered to you in a premium quality presentation box as pictured.
It is extremely important to purchase tanzanite that is accompanied with either a Certificate of Authenticity from a reputable jeweller or is certified by a recognised gemological institute. It is evident that the market has been flooded with many tanzanites that have been coated to enhance the colour or the worst case scenario are violet/blue glass!
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will gladly accept a return & offer a full refund.

Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
