Certainly a contemporary design!  Blue zircon is not to be confused with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond and was mined from Mother Earth in Cambodia.  This zircon has received some heat treatment to enhance its colour but that is all, this is a completely acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry. The zircon measures 5.25mm round with a weight of 0.77 points so not a tiny gemstone!  The design of the ring is simple yet stylish allowing the emphasis to be on this beautiful blue zircon.
