Such an exquisite 9ct yellow gold pendant set with a large, completely natural amethyst mined from Mother Earth in the Bahia region of Brazil and measuring an impressive 12mm x 12mm with a weight of 4.37 carats so a large rock and to make it extra special, has been cut into the fancy shaped Alpine cut. This gemstone has been cut with six sides to maximise the internal play-of-light and displays such brilliance and lustre and is certainly admired by avid gemstone collectors and connoisseurs. To add that more luxury, genuine Cambodian mined white zircon has been set into the design. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond. The drop of the pendant measures approximately 22mm x 14mm wide and has been independently hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in UK.
