Such a beautiful 9ct yellow gold ring and set with an emerald mined from Mother Earth in the renown Kafubu area of Zambia. The emerald’s colour is a stunning spearmint green with a beautiful glow. The emerald is oval in shape and measures an impressive 8mm x 5.75mm with a weight of 1.07 carats so one of the largest emeralds we have been fortunate to have sourced from this prestigious area. As you will see from our close up photos and video, this emerald does have natural internal inclusions as expected from a type III gemstone. Emeralds do have natural inclusions but this does not detract from their beauty and is accepted throughout the gemstone industry. Although the emerald is natural, it has received some oil to the surface to enhance its lustre, this is a perfectly acceptable practice within the gemstone industry. To add that touch more luxury, genuine Cambodian mined white zircon have been pave set as a halo around the emerald, such a high end red carpet look! Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond! The actual design of the ring measures approximately 19mm x 13mm wide. Most importantly, the ring you see in our photos and video is the ring that will be sent to you and is not part of a bulk lot that other online jewellers display on their websites.
