Such a beautiful pair of premium quality Sterling silver hoop earrings set with genuine emeralds mined from Mother Earth in Zambia. Each of the 12 emeralds measure 2.5mm round with a combined weight of 0.67 points. The emeralds are an amazing vibrant spearmint green colour with a beautiful glow unlike many we have sourced and rejected that can be quite dark in colour. Emeralds being a type III gemstone will have natural inclusions which is referred to in the trade as jardin! Please be assured, the emeralds are natural, as natural as Mother Earth created and are NOT lab created as are a vast amount of “emeralds” on the market today! Although natural, the emeralds have received some oiling to their surface to enhance their lustre. This is a perfectly acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry. The drop of each earrings measures approximately 24mm x 25mm across so not large hoops but not huggies, just a nice size for everyday casual wear. The silver weight is 5.13g so solid and are hallmarked 925. Most importantly, the earrings you see in our photos and video is the pair that you will receive and not part of a bulk lot that other online jewellers display on their websites. The earrings are hand crafted to a high standard and NOT mass machine produced and were pre-owned with barely any wear and have been professionally cleaned and sterilised for re-sale and will be delivered to you in a premium quality presentation box. We can source brand new emerald earrings but due to the cost of this gemstone now, it is not viable to set into silver.
