The emeralds were mined from Mother Earth in Zambia and measure 5mm x 4mm oval with a combined weight of 0.68 points so tiny gemstones. The emeralds are an amazing vibrant spearmint green colour with amazing glow unlike many we have sourced and rejected that can be quite dark in colour. Emeralds being a type III gemstone will have natural inclusions which is referred to in the trade as jardin! Please be assured, the emeralds are natural, as natural as Mother Earth created and are NOT lab created as are a vast amount of “emeralds” on the market today! Although natural, the emeralds have received some oiling to their surface. This is a perfectly acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry. To add that touch more luxury, natural 2mm round Kaori cultured pearls have been set at the top of the design. The drop of each earrings measures approximately 9mm long x 4mm wide. The earrings are secured with butterfly fasteners. and are hallmarked 925.
