Such a stunning 9k yellow gold pendant set with three premium AA graded tanzanites. The tanzanites taper down in size from 5mm to 4mm round with a combined weight of 1.13 carats so not tiny gemstones! Each tanzanite has been round brilliant cut which is one of the most attractive and expensive cuts for this gemstone due to the wastage of rough it takes to achieve. This cut offers more brilliance due to the faceting of the table Each tanzanite is so well matched for colour which can be described as a beautiful vivid blue/violet with flashes of pink in certain lights! Along with colour, it is also an extremely important factor when choosing your tanzanite that the stone has excellent clarity and cut and must say these stones are superb. The length of the pendant from the top of the bale is approximately 28mm x 5mm wide. The pendant will be delivered with a brand new premium quality Italian manufactured 18″ 9ct yellow gold belcher chain that weighs approximately 0.78g and is secured with a ring fastener, please see photo. The links of the chain are 0.8mm so a fine chain but in fitting with the size of the pendant. Please be assured, the gold has been independently hallmarked by the Assay Office in Birmingham, UK. We are sure that whoever decides to buy this necklace will be thrilled with their purchase.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you prefer to buy the pendant only, please contact us in the first instance and we will be happy to reduce the cost and alter the listing for the pendant only.
The pendant is hand crafted to a high standard and is NOT mass machine produced and is brand new and will be delivered to you in a premium quality presentation box. The Certificate of Authenticity refers to the pendant only.
It is extremely important to purchase tanzanite that is accompanied with either a Certificate of Authenticity from a reputable jeweller or is certified by a recognised gemological institute. It is evident that the market has been flooded with many tanzanites that have been coated to enhance the colour or the worst case scenario are violet/blue glass!

Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
