Such a beautiful 9ct yellow gold ring that has been set with 3 beautiful oval shaped genuine rubies mined from Mother Earth in Thailand and sourced from gemstone specialist Sant of Bangkok. Each ruby measures 5mm x 4mm with a combined weight of 1.63 carats so a tad over 1/2 a carat in each gemstone so not small rubies! Please be assured, the rubies are NOT lab created or the much less valuable glass filled ruby you see on the market, these rubies are genuine and have only received heat treatment to enhance their colour which is a totally acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry. Approximately 95% of all rubies on the open market will have received heat treatment. The rubies are so well matched for colour which can be described as a beautiful strawberry red. There are natural inclusions to these rubies but the transparency is good, not opaque like many we have sourced and rejected. Obviously near loupe clean VVS rubies of this size would certainly be very much more expensive. To add that touch more luxury, 6 genuine yellow diamonds have been set into the design. Please be assured, the gold has been independently hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK. We are sure that whoever decides to buy this ring will be thrilled with their purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: The ring has been modelled on the life size hand of a mannequin to demonstrate the look of the ring when worn. The ring has been gauged for size as a UK size N 1/2 but we are sure would fit comfortably on a ring size N or O. This ring can be re-sized within reason, please contact us in the first instance and we will be happy to enquire as to whether the ring could be taken to the size you require.
