Such a pretty premium graded AA tanzanite has been set into this 9k yellow gold ring. The tanzanite measures 5.5mm x 5.5mm and weighs a tad over 1/2 of a carat so not a tiny gemstone that has been cut into one of the most popular trillion shapes! Please be assured, the tanzanite has been professionally authenticated by a reputable gemstone trader which is an extremely important factor when purchasing these rare gemstones! The tanzanite is a beautiful vivid violet/blue and has been graded AA for colour saturation and clarity. To add that touch more luxury, a halo of sparkling Cambodian mined white zircon have been set around the tanzanite and into the shoulders. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest know to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond! The actual size of the design is approximately 9mm x 15mm across. Most importantly, the ring you see in our photos is the ring that will be delivered to you! Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
