WOW! This is a stunning 9ct gold ring set with a natural SI graded aquamarine mined from Mother Earth in the Santa Maria area of Brazil where some of the finest examples of this gemstone are found. The aquamarine has a great depth of colour and is adorned with a halo of freshwater kaori cultured pearls which are also set into the shoulders. The aquamarine measures 8mm x 5mm with a weight of 0.66 points so not a tiny gemstone measuring 8mm x 5mm and has been cut into the attractive pear shape. Such a great depth of colour and great clarity unlike many we have sourced and rejected that can be very pale in colour. The actual design of the ring measures approximately 15mm x 18mm across the shoulders. As a reputable jewellery trader we like to disclose all known treatments to the gemstones we sell and we can confirm that this aquamarine has received some heat treatment to enhance its appearance which is a totally acceptable practice within the gemstone industry. Please be assured, the gold has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK.
