This is a stunning 9ct yellow gold ring set with a natural rare emerald sourced from Ethiopia. The emerald measures 7mm x 5mm with a weight of 0.78 points so not a small emerald considering the rarity of these gemstones! The colour saturation of this emerald is good and can be described as a vivid spearmint green with a neon glow, such vibrancy! We have sourced many emeralds that are very opaque and dull in colour, but must say, this is not the case with this emerald! The emerald has received an oil to the surface of the stone to improve its lustre, this is a totally acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry and is applied to most emeralds. To add that touch more luxury, genuine diamonds have been set into the shoulders. Please be assured, the gold has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK. PLEASE NOTE: The ring has been modelled on the life size hand of a mannequin to demonstrate the look of the ring when worn. The has been gauged for size as a UK N 1/2 but we are sure would fit comfortably on a ring size N or O.
