This is a stunning premium quality Sterling silver ring set with natural emeralds sourced from Zambia, a country which is now renown for fine quality emeralds. All six of the emeralds are so well matched for colour saturation and can be described as a vivid spearmint green with a neon glow, such vibrancy! We have sourced many emeralds that are very opaque and dull in colour, but must say, this is not the case with these emeralds! It was astounding to find such premium quality emeralds set into silver, even their clarity is good!  The six oval shaped emeralds measure 4mm x 3mm so not tiny specks! Although the emeralds are natural and mined from Mother Earth in Zambia, they have received an oil to the surface of the stone to improve their lustre, this is a totally acceptable practice in the gemstone world and is applied to most emeralds. We are so pleased to have sourced these beautiful gemstones set into silver as it makes owning jewellery set with this gemstone so much more affordable than if set into gold!
