The tanzanite set into the centre of the design measures 4.75mm round with a weight of 0.43 points so a tad under 1/2 of a carat so not tiny stone by any means! A further two extremely rare to source marquise shaped tanzanites have also been set into the design, each stone measuring 5mm x 3mm with a combined weight of 0.40 points! Each tanzanite is well matched for colour and can be described as a beautiful violet/blue. To add that touch more luxury and an amazing contrast in colour, Cambodian mined genuine white zircon have also been set into the design. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond! When choosing a premium tanzanite, it is extremely important factor for the colour, clarity and cut to be of a high standard and must say the stones are superb in all three qualities.
