Each gemstone measures approximately 4.5mm to 3mm and have been cut into the attractive pear shape. Please be assured, the rubies are natural and have only received some heat treatment to enhance their colour which is a totally acceptable treatment for this gemstone throughout the gemstone industry. Rubies from Burma are some of the finest and most coveted in the world and are sought after by avid collectors. The pendant measures approximately 24mm long from the top of the bale x 5mm wide. The colour of the rubies is a rich strawberry red with great translucency and glow. To add that touch more luxury, genuine ice white zircon have been set into the top of the design. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond.
