We have pleasure in offering for sale an exquisite 18ct yellow gold pendant and chain. The pendant has been set with a premium graded AAA tanzanite with an impressive weight of 1.40 carats and measuring 7mm round so a large gemstone considering the rarity of the higher graded tanzanites over the 1 carat mark! The tanzanite has been round brilliant cut which is one of the most amazing cuts for this gemstone, producing more brilliance than other shapes due to the faceting on the table of the gemstone. This round brilliant cut is more costly to achieve compared to others due to the waste of rough, but is worth the extra outlay for the fire this gemstone displays! Such an exquisite colour and clarity to this tanzanite, a beautiful vivid blue/violet with flashes of pink! Along with colour, it is also an extremely important factor when choosing your tanzanite that the stone has excellent clarity and cut and must say this stone is superb. To add that touch more luxury a 1.5mm round premium graded G-H diamond has been set into the base of the bale. Please be assured, the pendant you see in our photos is the one that you will receive. The length of the pendant from the top of the bale is approximately 15mm x 7mm wide. The pendant will be delivered with a brand new fine quality Italian manufactured 18″ 18ct yellow gold diamond cut trace chain weighing 1.27g and is secured with a ring fastener, please see photo. The links of the chain are 0.8mm so a fine chain but in fitting with the weight of the pendant. We are sure that whoever decides to buy this necklace will be thrilled with their purchase.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you do not require the chain, please contact us in the first instance and we will be happy to revise the price and alter the listing for the cost of the pendant only.
The pendant is hand crafted to a high standard and is NOT mass machine produced and is brand new and will be delivered to you in a premium quality presentation box.
It is extremely important to purchase tanzanite that is accompanied with either a Certificate of Authenticity from a reputable jeweller or is certified by a recognised gemological institute. It is evident that the market has been flooded with many tanzanites that have been coated to enhance the colour or the worst case scenario are violet/blue glass!
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will gladly accept a return & offer a full refund.
Please feel confident in purchasing from Tam’s Tanzanite in the knowledge that we have sourced vast amounts of tanzanite and please be assured, we only select the finest quality of stones for saturation of colour and clarity to offer for sale on our website unlike a lot of tanzanite that is graded AAA and much paler!
Please take a look at our feedback from over 1,800 satisfied customers who have bought predominantly tanzanite through our website, Ebay and Etsy stores and we are pleased to say, have now established a fantastic customer base who return to us regularly.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
