Such a stunning 9k yellow gold pendant set with a beautiful natural pink kunzite measuring 8mm x 6mm with a weight of 1.72 carats so not a small gemstone, a nice size for every day wear! The colour of this gemstone is a beautiful delicate pink with such an inner glow! Unlike many of the other examples of this gemstone that have received irradiation treatment to achieve the more vivid pinks, this example is completely natural and was mined from the Kolum region of Afghanistan. This is one of the few gemstones which displays phosphorescence which is the process in which the energy absorbed is released relatively slowly in the form of light. The term is used by experts to describe gemstones that appear to glow in the dark. The length of the pendant from the top of the bale is approximately 16mm x 6mm wide. The pendant will be delivered with a brand new premium quality Italian manufactured 18″ 9ct yellow gold belcher chain that weighs approximately 0.78g and is secured with a ring fastener, please see photo. The links of the chain are 0.8mm so a fine chain but in fitting with the size of the pendant. We are sure that whoever decides to buy this necklace will be thrilled with their purchase.
