We are so pleased to have sourced one of the worlds most beautiful and coveted ruby’s mined in Burma and set into a premium quality 9k yellow gold ring. Please be assured, the rubies are genuine and from Burma and are NOT LAB CREATED OR FILLED! The rubies have received some heat treatment, but that is all which is a totally acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry! The rubies have a lovely translucency and are not opaque by any means! Each of the 6 rubies have been cut into the attractive pear shape and measure 4mm x 3mm with a combined weight of 1.23ct so not tiny specks being a tad under 1/4 of a carat each! Each ruby has been so well matched for colour which can be described as a vivid strawberry red with a lovely glow! To add that touch more luxury, genuine ice white zircon have been set into the design. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond. Please be assured, the gold has been indepentently hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK. The ring has been professionally gauged to a UK size N 1/2 but we are sure that this ring will fit a ring size N or O comfortably.
