Such a beautiful 9ct yellow gold ring and set with a rare to source emerald mined from Mother Earth in Columbia. The emerald’s colour is a vivid light spearmint green with good transparency compared to many we have sourced and rejected that can be quite opaque! The emerald is oval in shape with a weight of 0.53 points and measures 6mm x 4mm. This emerald does have natural internal inclusions under the table of the ring. Being a type III gemstone, emeralds do have natural inclusions but this does not detract from its beauty and is accepted throughout the gemstone industry. Although the emerald is natural, it has received some oil to the surface to enhance its lustre, this is a perfectly acceptable practice within the gemstone industry. To add that touch more luxury, genuine Cambodian mined white zircon have been set as a halo around the emerald. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond! Please be assured, the gold has been independently hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK. Columbia is where some of the finest emeralds are mined and demand the highest prices throughout the industry and are certainly coveted by avid collectors! PLEASE NOTE: The ring has been modelled on the life size hand of a mannequin to demonstrate the look of the ring when worn. The ring has been gauged as a UK size N 1/2 but we are sure would fit comfortably on a ring size N or O. The ring can be re-sized within reason, please contact us in the first instance and we would be happy to enquire as to whether the ring can be altered to your requirements.
