Such a stunning ring set with an emerald mined from Mother Earth in Zambia.  The Zambian emerald deposits are some of the finest emeralds and are now demanding some of the highest prices throughout the industry.  The emerald’s colour is a vivid spearmint green with an inner glow and great transparency and measures 7mm x 5mm with a weight if 1.00 carat, so not a tiny gemstone!  Being a type III gemstone, emeralds do have natural inclusions which does not detract from their beauty. Obviously an eye clean emerald of this size and colour would cost considerably more!   Although the emerald is natural, it has received some oil to the surface to enhance its lustre, this is a perfectly acceptable practice within the gemstone industry.  To add that touch more luxury and style to the design, natural rare tsavorite garnets have been set around the emerald and into the shoulders, such a dramatic beautiful look to this ring!
