Such a beautiful 9k yellow gold ring set with 26 rare natural alexandrite’s all matched so well for colour and each measuring 1.5mm round with a combined weight of 0.43 points. To add that touch more luxury to this ring, genuine green diamonds have been set into the shoulders. Alexandrite is a pleochroic (trichroic) gem and will exhibit emerald green, through to grey/blues/mauves/reds dependent on lighting. We have taken photos to demonstrate the colour change properties one under UV light where the bright reds are evident and then the slight mauves/grey under artificial lighting. There is only a slight shift in colour under artificial lighting due to the size of the stones. Please be assured, the gold has been independently hallmarked 375 by the Assay Office in Birmingham, UK. PLEASE NOTE: This ring has been modelled on a life size mannequins hand to demonstrate what the ring will look like when worn. It has been gauged as a UK size N 1/2 but we are sure would fit comfortably on a ring size N or O. There would be no problem having the ring re-sized within reason.
