We feel that the grading of AA for this particular tanzanite is very conservative and more deserving of a AA+/AAA. The tanzanite weighs 0.62 points so not a tiny gemstone measuring 5.5mm x 5.5mm! Please be assured, the tanzanite has been professionally authenticated by a reputable jeweller which is an extremely important factor when purchasing these rare gemstones! The colour of this tanzanite is a beautiful vivid blue/violet with flashes of pink in certain light sources and viewing points. To add that touch more luxury, a halo of genuine white zircon have been set around the tanzanite and into the shoulders. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone and is one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond. This particular deposit of Zircon was mined in Cambodia.
