The genuine ruby has been mined from Mother Earth in Madagascar and measures 5mm round with a weight of 0.60 points so not a tiny chip by any means! The ruby has the most beautiful strawberry red colour with an inner glow. Please be assured, this ruby is NOT lab created. It has received some filling treatment to enhance its clarity but this is all and is a perfectly acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry. The drop of the pendant measures approximately 20mm and will be accompanied by a brand new Italian manufactured 18″ long Sterling silver diamond cut curb chain.
