IMPORTANT NOTICE: This listing is for the pendant only and does not include the gold chain in our photos.
WOWOW! This must be one of the largest AAA graded tanzanites we have been fortunate to have sourced and is set into a 9k yellow gold pendant. The weight of this tanzanite is an impressive 5.54 carats and measures a massive 11mm x 9mm and its colour is amazing, a rich blue/violet with flashes of pink, pure text book and has been cut into one of the most attractive cushion shapes which has received the expensive lapidary work of checkerboard faceting to its table. The tanzanite has good translucency and is not opaque by any means! Our photographs really do not do this tanzanite justice, so much better in reality! The length of the pendant from the top of the bale is approximately 21mm x 10mm wide. To add that touch more luxury, a genuine marquise shaped white zircon has been set at the bottom of the bale. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to mankind with the brilliance of a diamond. Speaking honestly, we would rather under sell and over deliver on our pieces so it is important to know that this tanzanite does have natural inclusions but this does not detract from the beauty of this gemstone. An extra nought would certainly need to be added to our price to buy a clean tanzanite of this colour and size. Please be assured, the pendant you see in our photos is the one that will be delivered to you and for your re-assurance has been independently hallmarked by the Assay Office in Birmingham UK. We are sure that whoever buys this pendant will be thrilled with their purchase, a beautiful pendant that would adorn any neckline.
The pendant is hand crafted to a high standard and is NOT mass machine produced and is brand new and will be delivered to you in a premium quality presentation box.
It is extremely important to purchase tanzanite that is accompanied with either a Certificate of Authenticity from a reputable jeweller or is certified by a recognised gemological institute. It is evident that the market has been flooded with many tanzanites that have been coated to enhance the colour or the worst case scenario are violet/blue glass!
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will gladly accept a return & offer a full refund.

Tanzanite really is a good investment. 1,000 times rarer than diamond. A spokesman from the Tanzanite Authority said it was difficult to ascertain exactly what the price of tanzanite would be in the future, with many expecting the price to reach anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 per carat during the next decade, however, what is for certain is that supply is not infinite and the demand for the stone continues to rise as developing markets such as India and China continue to drive demand upwards. Towards the end of the 1990’s tanzanite had established itself as the most popular selling gemstone in the world outselling most coloured gemstones!
