Such a pretty stylish design to this 9ct yellow gold ring and set with a rare to source emerald mined from Mother Earth in Columbia. The emerald’s colour is a vivid spearmint green with an inner glow and is oval in shape with a weight of 0.38 points and measuring 5mm x 4mm. Being a type III gemstone, emeralds do have some natural inclusions but this does not detract from its beauty and certainly this gemstone has good transparency unlike many we have sourced that can be opaque. Although the emerald is natural, it has received some oil to the surface to enhance its lustre, this is a perfectly acceptable practice within the gemstone industry. To add that touch more luxury, genuine Cambodian mined white zircon have been set into the shoulders. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond! Please be assured, the gold has been independently hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in the UK. Columbia is where some of the finest emeralds are mined and demand the highest prices throughout the industry and are certainly coveted by avid collectors!
