This is a stunning 9ct yellow gold ring set with a natural emerald sourced from Mother Earth in Columbia where some of the most coveted emeralds are from and generally demand higher prices than emeralds from other locations. The emerald measures 7mm x 5mm with a weight of 0.72 points so not a tiny gemstone! The emeralds colour saturation is amazing and can be described as a vivid spearmint green with a neon glow, such vibrancy! The emerald has received an oil treatment to its surface to enhance its lustre, this is a totally acceptable practice throughout the gemstone industry and is applied to most emeralds. To add that touch more luxury, sparkling genuine white zircon have been set as a halo around the emerald and also into the shoulders. Please do not confuse zircon with the man made cubic zirconia, zircon is a natural gemstone, one of the oldest known to Mankind with the brilliance of a diamond!
