Rubies sourced from Thailand are known in the trade as Siam rubies (Siam being the country’s former name) and many of the finest rubies are sourced from Thailand. The rubies are NOT lab created or filled but have received some heat treatment to enhance their colour as have 95% of corundum for sale through the trade today. This would make a great stacker ring or would look equally beautiful worn on its own. Please be assured, the silver has been hallmarked 925.
